A Quick Trip to Gambier

We managed to get Declan over to Lisa's cabin on Gambier for a quick visit. Declan has a pretty strong love affair for the ocean, and he loves to pal around with Lena and Reid.

Cates Park

I took Declan to Cates Park, which was one of my very favourite spots when I was a kid. It was extra fun seeing Declan tear around with Jenny and Colins' kids, like the 3 of us wreaked havoc upon North Van oh so many moons ago ( 300 moons?). This is the first time that our kids have ever got to play together what with us living in three different countries.

Green Lake

I am retroblogging for our visit to Canada for Marty's dad's memorial. We flew into Seattle and spent the day before heading up to Vancouver, and stopped in to visit Green Lake. It was fun to take Declan back to our old haunt, right next to where Shane used to live.

First day of School

Declan started fulltime developmental preschool today. He did fine with the drop off, but I had a few tears. It's hard to think about being away from him 5 days a week.
