Happy Birthday Abbey!
We went to Abbey's Fancy Nancy birthday party to help her celebrate turning 3!
Declan would not leave his on for one second. There are no pictures of Declan in a top hat- it was automatically ejected every time!
His hands are blurry because that's how fast he is getting rid of the top hat! He was good with his little necktie but he must have just thought the top hat was too much.
There were lots of fun activities...
A storytime reading of Fancy Nancy that the kids actually sat still for! They are growing up!
Some parachute play!
There were crafts too. All the guests bejeweled a purse (or murse) for themselves. Notice in this shot random neighbor girl rocking a Vancouver 2010 shirt!
Here are all the girls using Froot Loops for to make a necklace. Declan just ate his craft supplies. On the plus side - I have never seen him sit so still for so long. It was like he never knew that Cheerios could be like this.
Thanks to the Hardins for a really fun party!

Abbey's Fall Photo Shoot.
While Nicole was off getting her hair done I took a bunch of pictures of Abbey at the park. Abbey is a great model as accessories are always included. It's the key to fashion!

Now that's what I am talking about!
It has been beautiful weather this week - sunny and warm every day. We spent a fun weekend in Fayetteville with the James' and it couldn't have been better weather for the football game- 27 degrees at kickoff on Saturday. Anyway Declan and I have been outside as much as possible trying to soak up some Vitamin D before the dark times come!
**ETA - I have been taking some guff from Shane about this photo. He objects to how far I let Declan get away from me when he is so close to both a culvert and the Arkansas River. I reassured him by pointing out that I had Declan in my viewfinder the whole time - to which Shane replied "Like Zapruder had Kennedy in his viewfinder the whole time?"
So yeah maybe I should stay closer.
